CTI Productions Launches Online CBET Study Forum

CTI Productions, Dallas, announces its new online training forum to assist biomedical equipment technicians (BMETs) who are pursuing their certification. The new CBET study forum allows access at any time to training videos, study guides, and practice tests that change weekly.

“We saw a need in the BMET community to provide an avenue for professionals in the biomed field to come together in a common environment that will be a benefit to reaching their overall goals,” said J.C. Newell, training coordinator, CTI Productions Inc.

According to the release, in addition to the training videos and study guides, the forum features instant chat and technical forum discussions. The online CBET study forum offers the advantage of online group discussions on an expanded scale. Members can meet with their friends online to study together, or join one of the groups already created. Participants can also create an avatar to represent them or upload their photo.

The new forum offers two options for membership. Free membership allows access to the forum, training videos, study guides, and practice tests on the videos viewed. It also includes instant messaging for discussions through the chatbox and private messaging.

Premium membership, at $50 annually, gives members access to the same features as the free membership plus unlimited access to archived videos, study guides, and tests. This membership enables the user to go back and retrieve any data that they may have missed. This membership also permits the groups created by the member to choose which training videos they would like to view out of the more than 65 modules of study in CTI’s library.

CTI Productions says it is a chance to give back to the BMET community in a way that supports and assists in the development of their careers. And as a special incentive, it will offer its premium membership for half price to the first 50 people to join the forum.
